Handmade Paper Banksia Ornament

The flower head is built from hundreds of finely fringed paper strands that shift from one colour to the next, giving it real texture and movement. It sits on a hand-wrapped stem with deep green paper leaves, just like the real thing, only it will never wilt.

Each banksia is made by a paper artist who grew up right here in Parkdale and now creates from her studio in the Blue Mountains. We love that her work has found its way back home to the Bayside.

Because every piece is cut, fringed and shaped by hand, no two are exactly alike. Expect small variations in colour, shape and fringe, which is all part of the charm of owning something truly one of a kind.
